Wishing for a month of Sundays!

Youth Fellowship singers
Usually you hear the phrase 'never in a month of Sundays', however, following the service led by our Youth Fellowship on the fifth Sunday in August, it left me wishing for a month of Sundays - so we could see them lead a service far more often. Their confidence in leading us through the service in singing, prayer and drama was a joy to behold and put many of us adults to shame!

Their dramatic portrayal of Matthew 16 v 25 - 27 easily conveyed the Gospel message;

'For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.'
