Living Brook Benefice (Piddington, Hardingstone and Quinton)

  As we cautiously begin to open up church services again, we are pleased to announce that there will be a 2 Mothering Sunday services in the Benefice, the first at St Edmunds at 10 am for parishioners only and also  at St John the Baptist, Quinton at 10 am on the 14th March.  Booking is required for the Quinton service. You can book your part of 3 or less a pew - there are only 5 pews available. There will be a new pattern of service at St Edmunds called Praise@10.  There will be four types of service; Communion, Creation, Craft and Coffee. It will be wonderful to see you at all of them.  Look out on the notice board to see what type of service it will be this week!  The Creation, Craft and Coffee services will be informal short services with the emphasis on fellowship. Our services resumed on Sundays from the 19th of July at St Edmunds at the earlier time of 10am. On Sunday the 26th July our service was moved outside due to the rising number of Coronavirus cases in Northampton Borough. Our churches will be opening for private prayer from this week. St Edmund’s in Hardingstone will be open on Wednesdays from noon until 2pm St John the Baptist in Piddington will be opening on Mondays from  noon until 2pm St John the Baptist in Quinton will be open by appointment  Andy Bailey ( 01604 862292 ) or Julia Javes ( 01604 315788 ). Steve Watson is leading  a short collective worship of prayers  in  Horton Churchyard   on Tuesday at 2:30pm Canon Beverley  will be holding a service in  St Edmunds starting  at   10:00am  on the 19th July.  This service will be livestreamed via facebook.  Everyone is welcome at their own risk.

As circumstances dictated that we were unable to hand out our new palm crosses at our usual Palm Sunday services we were challenged by Canon Beverley to make our own which she blessed during our online service on WhatsApp this morning. Here are all our creative efforts!
