Welcome back Revd Canon Beverley Hollins!

We welcome back Beverley from her sabbatical and hope  she has achieved all her goals and most importantly feels  spiritually refreshed and congratulate her on  joining the  College of Canons as an Honorary Canon of the Cathedral  of Peterborough. She will be known now as Rev Canon  Beverley Hollins or just Canon Hollins.

Happy Easter!

We wish everyone in our Benefice a wonderful Easter and rejoice that Jesus died on that cross so that we too could enjoy an eternal life with Him.  Hallelujah Jesus is risen! Here is a message from the Bishop: The life, death, and resurrection of Christ has inspired the creation of many beautiful buildings over the last 2 , 000 years. Today we can announce the launch of  ‘2018: THE YEAR OF NORTHAMPTONSHIRE CHURCHES’  – a  campaign to promote the beautiful and historic churches of our county with the local community and beyond. The launch of this campaign took place on Tuesday March 27 th , and we are hoping to open doors in order to open eyes to appreciate all that we have close around us. Please visit the website  ‘NORTHAMPTONSHIRE: BRITAIN’S BEST SURPRISE’  ( www.northamptonshiresurprise.com ) and share what you find and enjoy. Happy Easter Bishop Donald

Dementia course

Image
If anyone is interested and would like to attend this training day on becoming a dementia friendly church p lease phone Sally Crossley on the number below in the poster for more details. This is something that is important to us all, and we are blessed to have a dementia friendly champion in Jo Wilde who has delivered a number of sessions on the subject for us. This course moves on from the material Jo has used and looks at what churches can do to support members and local people who have dementia.
