LENT COURSE: TRUE FREEDOM 


This year's course is looking at the important subject of modern slavery and Paul's letter to the Galatians. It should be a provoking and challenging course and we hope to see you there.  


The 5-week course will be held in Hardingstone Church starting Tuesday the 20th of February at 2pm. 

There will also be an evening session on Zoom starting on Thursday the 22nd of February. For anyone who would like to attend the evening session please contact Revd Julie at; revjuliescott@gmail.com to get the link. 










The issue of the modern slavery is one that affects many people in our communities on a daily basis and this course will allow us to listen to case studies from survivors and explore Paul's letter. 

You do not need to have an understanding of the Bible, or of the subject of Modern Slavery to take part in this course. We will explore this together as a group.

My name is Revd Julie Scott and with my husband Adrian we are looking forward to joining and serving the community. We currently live in Bridgwater Somerset where I have served part of my curacy. The southwest has been home for a number of years, however I recognised that I wanted to discover and minister to a new area, as well as a being a little closer to our family. We have one daughter and two grandchildren who live in Lincolnshire, and I am blessed to have my father who still lives in Surrey where I grew up.
