Art Exhibition Preview | Art Exhibition Preview Evening at 7:30pm Piddington Church We have less than three weeks to go before our amazing Art Exhibition opens. Over fifty exhibits from renowned local artists and members of the Great Houghton Art Group will be displayed in our beautiful church over the weekend of 27th and 28th June. On Friday 26th June at 7.30pm we are hosting a preview event in the church. This Preview Evening gives you a chance to view the exhibits early, without obligation or reserve any you wish to buy. It will also provide a convivial evening, in a lovely setting, to catch up with friends and neighbours. Everyone is welcome. Wine (soft drink alternatives will also be served) and Canapes are included in your ticket price of £15 per person. Tickets are available from Jane Ward on 07885321111 or Ljaneward@aol.com or Joanne Wilde.
Piddington Churchyard is participating in the Open Gardens event taking place in Piddington, Hackleton and Horton over the weekend of Sat 27th and Sun 28th June. It would be brilliant if there could have a steward in attendance during the opening hours 11am - 4pm daily. If you can volunteer just for a one hour slot, then either fill in the rota in Piddington Church or email Jane on Ljaneward@aol.com or call her on 07885 321111. The idea is that the wonderful work carried out in the churchyard, resulting in a Wildlife Trust Silver Award, is showcased. All information will be provided for stewards, in case people ask questions. Thank you in advance Cream Teas at St Edmund’s on Saturday 26th June 2pm - 4pm
St Ed’s will be providing cream teas in association with Hardingstone Fete.
