Crib services

Yes Christmas seems a long time ago, but as we are still officially in Epiphany, I think I can get away with this late posting of pictures from the Piddington with Horton Crib service!
Some of the Living Brook Youth Fellowship and our younger children put on a fantastic sketch at our Crib Service in Piddington this year. The comedy sketch based on two angel airmen played by Alex Bird and Brent Klegeris in the style of the much more famous Armstrong and Miller Show, witnessing a modern day unfolding of the Nativity before their eyes.

The sketch was well received and the church was packed and you could feel the eager anticipation of the children waiting for a visit from that very special gentleman in the red coat!

The crib service at Hardingstone was also very well attended this year with many children from the school attending, thanks to the strong links that are being forged between Hardingstone Academy and the Living Brook Benefice.

Our Christmas Eve celebrations continued with Carols in Candlelight in Quinton which was also well attended and well done to Anjana, who managed to take part and get to all three services! Our Christmas Eve celebrations climaxed with Midnight Mass when many people celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ as Christmas Day was heralded at midnight by the ringing of the bells.
