Appointment of Priest in Charge

APPOINTMENT OF
PRIEST IN CHARGE OF THE PARISHES OF
HARDINGSTONE & HORTON & PIDDINGTON &
QUINTON & PRESTON DEANERY

We are delighted to announce that following the recent interview and with the unanimous approval of the parish representatives, the Revd Beverley Hollins has accepted Bishop Donald’s invitation to be the Priest in Charge. She will be Licensed by Bishop Donald at 2.00pm on Saturday 24 November in St Edmund’s Church, Hardingstone.
Beverley is currently Deanery Development Facilitator for Newport Deanery, a largely rural deanery with 23 churches in a rural setting, in the Diocese of Oxford. She formerly served as Assistant Curate of the Church of Christ the Cornerstone Milton Keynes.

Archdeacon Christine and Bishop Donald are very grateful to all who helped with the preparation of the parish profile, all the arrangements for the interview day and for the continuing and encouraging ministry of the churches in the service of Christ during the vacancy. We ask your prayers for Beverley and her husband as they prepare to move to Hardingstone in the autumn.

The Venerable Christine Allsopp

Archdeacon of Northampton
